Why Holiday in South West Turkey

The Fethiye area is a fantastic and unspoilt part of Turkey.  It has beautiful white sandy beaches bordered by the warm Mediterranean Sea. At Oludeniz there is the spectacular Blue Lagoon.  There are mountains to explore, giving you panoramic views of the countryside.

 

in the towns of  Fethiye, Ovacik and Hisaronu there are a variety of shops, traditional markets, restaurants and bars.

 

Sarigerme is only 9 miles from Dalaman airport.  It has a fantastic beach which has been designated as a National Park Conservation area.  The town is still largely undeveloped with just a few restaurants and bars.  It is about 800m from the beach with a shuttle train linking the two.

 

Dalyan was once a small fishing village and is now famous for its rock tombs, turtles and mud baths.  The discovery of the endangered loggerhead turtles and other wildlife means that it is now environmentally protected.

 

The area is rich in history; visit the ancient city of Ephesus or the ghost town of Kayakoy.

 

Many different activities are available, from Camel Trekking to Paragliding and Diving.
